Would it be possible to speak with other Franchise Managers to get an idea of what the role involves?
Yes, this is possible. We can arrange an away day with one of our teams so you can see the day to day running of the business. You will also be able to speak with another Franchise Manager to get another perspective and you will be able to ask as many questions as you need.
What support is available when setting my business up?
You will have so much support from us to set your business up and throughout the lifetime of your Franchise. At the beginning of your journey we will give you practical things like policies and procedures, a proven HR system and a dedicated Head Office team to assist you. Help with marketing in your chosen area and staff and client recruitment will also be given and material such as leaflets will be supplied.
A yearly audit and two territory visits will be mandatory to support you with your personal development and business growth. A comprehensive training plan will also be on offer every year, for you to pick and choose from, if you decide you need additional support. Some of these sessions will be offered free of charge and some will come at a small cost.
Do I need care qualifications and previous care experience to be able to own my Apollo Care Franchise business?
The answer to this is NO. However, you do have to be the right kind of person that we are looking for. We have spoken about this in some detail in a previous section of this prospectus but in short, you need to have a caring nature, work hard and really want to make a difference in people’s lives. If you have no background in care at all, we can appoint a Care Manager to you for support and guidance. We will encourage and inspire you to progress in your own self development and give you opportunities to attain formal managerial qualifications in time.
Will I need an office to begin with?
You will eventually need an office within your territory to run your business and we will assist you in attaining the right office, in the right location, at the right price for you. However, at the very beginning of your journey, it may be more viable for you to start your business using your home address or in a shared office.
What will my start up costs be?
Apart from the initial Franchise fee that you will pay, there will be other costs that you will have to consider. Details of these figures are in the Financial Information Memorandum (FIM) that you can obtain by request.
What will I get for my money?
The Franchise Package includes an exclusive territory, management software to help run your business, a personalised website page and help with social media set up and marketing advice. HR advice and support, full initial training (with regular training opportunities), brand awareness and fantastic ongoing support from Head Office throughout the lifetime of your business.
What is the growth potential of a Franchise opportunity?
As with any venture, the amount of success you will have is completely dependent on the amount of effort and hard work you put in. The business opportunity is huge, with people looking after themselves, living longer and wanting to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible. At some point in their lives every person will come to a point where they will need to consider care; whether it would be for a family member or themselves. With the tools and support you will get from the Apollo Care team, there is no limit or restrictions on how successful you could be.
How will I find clients?
Our clients come from a variety of sources and include private and local council clients.
Training is provided on an ongoing basis to enable you to market your business both on and offline. We find that brand reputation is the key to growing your business successfully and we constantly strive to improve our service, attracting clients with different service needs.
