Training & Support
When choosing your care franchise, you need to make sure the franchisor is going to support you.
Apollo offers a competitive training and support element to the franchise package as described below. Beyond that, we limit the number of new franchisees who join our business each year because we want to be sure we have the capacity to support you – That way, you know you’re getting the best from us and we can prepare your launch properly. What’s more, our support doesn’t end once you’re up and running – Our franchise support team is always at the other end of the phone to give advice and guidance.
When you first come aboard, you will receive a robust programme of initial training so you understand what we’re about. You will gain lots of knowledge to successfully launch your Apollo business.
Our team will deliver your training over six days at our head office. All the programme content will be delivered by our hand-picked team of experts who specialise in HR, marketing, accounting and management.
All training has at its core the essentials you need to run a team with lots of space for you to ask whatever questions are on your mind.
Running a business is a continuous learning journey and as such, we provide ongoing training to all franchisees focussing on all aspects of business life, including stress management, confidence and mindfulness.
We want all Apollo teams, staff and managers alike, to be the best version of themselves and to reach their full potential. We therefore provide many opportunities to equip you with the necessary tools to achieve this.
We encourage franchisees to take on the mantle of self-development through individual learning and mentorship.
As well as the mentoring on offer, new franchisees will receive a dedicated franchise support manager who will work with you to help you get your business up and running. They are there with a thorough knowledge of Apollo, our services and the business operational know-how to ensure you’re prepared for and supported during any eventualities, be it service-user, HR or compliance related.
Initial support comes from our operational support team and includes helping you get your first year’s registration with the CQC, carrying out area assessment and helping you decide your finance options.
The ongoing support team takes over, walking you through your business development plan, carrying out territory visits and business audits, and assisting with ongoing business planning and compliance.
Tools & Software
Other practical support comes in the form of care planner software, policy and procedure documentation, marketing, stationery and business growth support.
Our head office team are always on hand to keep you up to date with system updates and the development of new services.
Apollo Care Awards
Once you’ve got your team underway, the head office-based Apollo Academy provides extended training to a select few team members to motivate and inspire care staff. You get to choose which of your employees get to experience this exclusive programme and develop their skills further.
Finally, in-keeping with our desire to inspire and motivate, each year, we celebrate the Apollo Care Awards. This is to recognise and reward good work ethic and talent across all the Apollo franchises. It is an informal afternoon where staff get to meet the other teams and celebrate a great year. There is even an award category for Franchisee of the Year, so be prepared!
